Rep. August Pfluger, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 11th district, posted a series of updates on his social media account regarding recent events and initiatives involving his office.

On September 24, 2025, Rep. Pfluger addressed an incident in Dallas, stating, “We are actively monitoring a shooting this morning at an ICE facility in Dallas. While we wait for more details to emerge, please join me in praying for the victims targeted in this tragedy and for our law enforcement, DHS, and ICE officials who are on scene.”

Later that day, he recognized conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s influence by supporting efforts to honor him: “Charlie Kirk inspired millions of Americans, and his impact deserves permanent recognition. Proud to join @RepAbeHamadeh in his effort to honor Charlie’s life with a commemorative coin that will preserve his legacy for generations to come.”

On September 25, 2025, Rep. Pfluger announced opportunities for student engagement within his district: “Applications are open for students to apply to my Congressional Youth Advisory Council. August Pfluger has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 11th District since 2021 after succeeding Mike Conaway. He won the seat following the 2020 general election against Jon Mark Hogg with nearly 80% of the vote.
