On May 3, Pfluger highlighted the significance of the Permian Basin to national energy security, stating: “The Permian Basin is the crown jewel of American energy production. We’ve never been stronger in our energy position thanks to the innovation of small, independent companies in the Permian Basin like @Diamondback_EP. Energy security will always be national security.”

In recognition of National Small Business Week on May 4, he posted: “Happy National Small Business Week! Small businesses are the backbone of our communities in Texas. That’s why I proudly voted to deliver critical relief for Main Street through the Working Families Tax Cuts. This week, I encourage everyone to shop local and show some extra”.

On May 5, following a town hall event, Pfluger shared an interview with FOX West Texas discussing developments related to the Farm Bill: “After the town hall, I joined Ethan Purcell from @FOXWestTexas to recap the meeting and discuss what’s next for the Farm Bill. Watch our full interview here:”
