On March 25, Pfluger highlighted his recent legislative initiative in the area of emergency communications. August Pfluger has served as the representative for Texas’s 11th District since replacing Mike Conaway in 2021. Born in Houston in 1978 and currently residing in San Angelo at age 44, Pfluger won his congressional seat after defeating Jon Mark Hogg in the general election of 2020 with nearly 80% of the vote.
