Rep. August Pfluger, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, has recently shared updates on legislative efforts and federal investments affecting agriculture, energy, and rural health in Texas.
On December 8, 2025, Pfluger expressed appreciation for a significant investment in American agriculture: “Grateful to @POTUS and @SecRollins for today’s $12 billion investment in American agriculture. This action will provide much needed relief to America’s farmers and ranchers. As a seventh generation Texan from a farming family, this fight is personal. I’ll always stand up for the https://t.co/bMogrzF92s”.
The following day, December 9, 2025, he highlighted the passage of his bill in the U.S. House aimed at changing how American liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports are managed: “ICYMI: The U.S. House passed my bill to depoliticize and streamline the export of American LNG. Exporting American LNG strengthens our economy, stabilizes prices, and bolsters the energy security of our global partners. Read more about the bill below: https://t.co/TWU6QgXZVS”.
Later that same day, Pfluger referenced his advocacy for rural healthcare funding alongside Senator John Cornyn: “Proud to lead the charge alongside @JohnCornyn in urging CMS to prioritize funding for Texas from the Rural Health Transformation Program. Texas leads the way in supporting rural America, and these funds will ensure we can continue that. Read more below: https://t.co/KAkrOBhMBM”.
August Pfluger began serving as representative after defeating Jon Mark Hogg with nearly 80% of the vote in 2020’s general election and replacing Mike Conaway in Congress beginning in 2021.
