Representative August Pfluger, serving Texas’ 11th district since 2021, has been actively communicating legislative priorities and actions through social media. His recent posts highlight efforts in tax reform, agricultural protection, and broader economic policies.

On June 18, 2025, Pfluger stated that “Republicans are working to ensure Americans keep more of their hard-earned money.” He introduced the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which he claims will increase the yearly take-home pay for a typical family in Texas by up to $13,000.

In another post on June 20, 2025, Pfluger expressed gratitude towards Secretary Rollins for taking swift action against a potential agricultural threat. He tweeted: “Thank you, @SecRollins, for acting swiftly to prevent the threat of the New World Screwworm from reentering the U.S.” Pfluger emphasized the importance of protecting livestock and assured support for farmers and ranchers in Texas.

Later that day, Pfluger highlighted additional aspects of the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” He mentioned that it aims to prevent significant tax increases while addressing other critical issues such as border security and military strengthening. According to his tweet: “The One Big Beautiful Bill will prevent the largest tax hike in history…” He also noted its support among hourly workers.

August Pfluger was born in Houston in 1978 and currently resides in San Angelo.
