Rep. August Pfluger, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, recently addressed several pressing issues through his social media platform. Pfluger, who succeeded Mike Conaway and resides in San Angelo, shared his thoughts on matters ranging from antisemitism to energy production.
On June 2, 2025, Rep. Pfluger expressed his condolences following a tragic event in Colorado. He stated, “Our hearts break for the victims of the horrific attack today in Colorado. Antisemitism cannot remain unchecked in the United States of America. Please join me in praying for the victims and the entire Jewish community.”
Later that day, he reiterated his stance against antisemitism by supporting legislative efforts. He tweeted on June 2, 2025: “Congress must always stand with our Jewish friends, and I am proud to do just that by supporting @RepMcDowell’s resolution to condemn antisemitism in all forms and honor the lives of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. Antisemitism has no place in America.”
In another post dated June 3, 2025, Rep. Pfluger highlighted an initiative related to energy policy: “It was an honor to partner with Chairman @RepGuthrie to bring members of @HouseCommerce to the Permian Basin yesterday to see firsthand the region that helps power the world!” This reflects his involvement in showcasing regions crucial to global energy supply.
