August Pfluger’s tweets highlight flood response efforts in Texas’ 11th District

Rep. August Pfluger, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 11th District since 2021, shared several updates on July 9, 2025, regarding flood relief efforts in his district. Pfluger replaced former U.S. Congress member Mike Conaway and currently resides in San Angelo.

In a tweet posted at 14:49 UTC, Rep. Pfluger announced that Governor Abbott had signed a disaster declaration for several counties in TX-11 due to severe flooding. He urged those with property damage to report it to the Texas Division of Emergency.

Later that day, at 16:41 UTC, he informed residents that H-E-B was distributing lunch from noon until 2 p.m. at the Gate 2 entrance on the Coliseum grounds in San Angelo for those affected by the floods or volunteering.

At 17:26 UTC, Pfluger highlighted Tyson Foods’ initiative of providing meals outside the Walmart Supercenter in San Angelo for first responders, volunteers, and flood victims.
