Midland, TX – Ba Nguyen Duong, age 71, of Midland, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on April 3, 1954, in Vietnam, he was one of 11 children to the late Ton Duong and Nga Le.
Nguyen, a college graduate, was a self-employed entrepreneur with numerous successful businesses. He was an active individual with a variety of interests, including singing, origami, woodworking, archery, running, geography, and travel. His creative spirit and love for exploring new things shone through in all his pursuits.
Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Hanh Vo of Midland, TX, his son Dam Duong, his daughters Tam Minh Duong, Tam Dan Duong, five grandchildren, four sisters, five brothers, and a multitude of extended family and friends. He is mourned by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A visitation for Ba Nguyen Duong will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Avalos-Sanchez and Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will commence at 2:00 p.m., with Deacon Billy Garcia officiating. Cremation services have been arranged to follow.
