Midland – Carl Lynn Rodgers, a dedicated and caring individual known for his sense of humor and big heart, passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 74 in Granbury, TX. Born in Lubbock, TX, Carl spent 23 years serving with the Midland Fire Department before retiring as a Captain.

Survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, sister, and extended family, friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Home in Midland.

A Celebration of Carl’s life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment services will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey, TX. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Big Lake Funeral Home, owned by Carl’s son Chad and daughter-in-law Vanessa.

Floral arrangements can be sent to Willowbrook Funeral Home in Midland. Carl’s legacy of kindness and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
