U.S. Congressman August Pfluger announced on Mar. 30 that he will hold a community town hall in Eden, Texas, inviting the public and media to attend the event scheduled for April 1 at the Eden Multipurpose Center.
The town hall offers an opportunity for residents of Texas’ 11th district to engage directly with their congressional representative and discuss local or national issues. The meeting is set to take place from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Central Time at 409 West Blanchard Street in Eden.
Pfluger has represented Texas’s 11th District in the U.S. Congress since replacing Mike Conaway in 2021, according to Ballotpedia. He was elected after defeating Jon Mark Hogg in the general election held in November 2020, winning by a margin of nearly eighty percent as reported by Ballotpedia.
Pfluger, who was born in Houston in 1978 and currently resides in San Angelo, continues his service as a congressional representative for the district he has served since early 2021, according to his official biography.
A flyer promoting the event is available for broadcast and distribution.
