Douglas Wayne Lusk, born on July 17, 1937, passed away on September 24, 2025. He graduated from Anson High School and was an avid lover of agriculture and the outdoors. Doug was known for his humor and practical jokes. He was a dedicated member, deacon, and greeter at Cotton Flat Baptist Church, known for his service, laughter, and deep love for family and community.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lorna, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved pet, Fluffy. Doug was greeted in Heaven by his parents, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and many others who passed before him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 4, 2025, at Cotton Flat Baptist Church in Midland, Texas. The family requests acts of kindness be done in Doug’s memory. Gratitude is extended to Cottonflat and Greenwood Baptist and Interim Home Therapy & Hospice for their care.
