Luz Maria Rodriguez, 63, passed away on October 12, 2025, in Midland, Texas. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and matriarch, leaving behind a legacy of love and family dedication.
Born on October 27, 1961, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Adolfo Manuel Jimenez and Lidia Segura, Luz’s life was centered around her husband Felix and their nine children, spanning 35 years in Midland. She was known for creating a warm home, attending her grandchildren’s sports events, and crafting beadwork.
Luz is survived by her mother, Lidia Segura, sister Elizebeth Jimenez, and a large extended family. Her memory is cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with evening prayers at 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.
