Midland – Maria Del Carmen Pulido Sanchez, affectionately known as Carmelita, passed away on September 12, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1942 in Aguiler Serdan Chihuhahua, Mexico, to parents Everardo Pulido Castro and Augustina Sanchez.
Carmelita worked diligently throughout her life, starting at a young age to support her family. She later moved to Midland, TX, after working in various roles, including as a custodian at Midland Lee High School for over 10 years before retiring.
In addition to her work, Carmelita was known for her love of church, family gatherings, and visits to casinos with her daughter Gloria, son Javier, and daughter-in-law Zulema.
Carmelita is survived by her brother Victor (Elisa) Pulido Sanchez; her children Fidel (Sara) Arturo Dominguez Pulido, Javier F. (Zulema) Dominguez Pulido, and Gloria G. (Jose) Urias Dominguez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even a great-great-grandchild.
