Meliton H. Olgin Sr., 83, of Midland, Texas, peacefully entered eternal rest on August 16, 2025. He was born on April 1, 1942, in Midland, Texas, to Adolfo Olgin and Pilar Hernandez Olgin. Meliton was a devoted father to his children: Melton Olgin Jr., Mario Olgin, Mary Martinez, and Matthew Olgin. He is survived by his 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Meliton’s life was marked by love, humor, and meaningful connections with others. His presence will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. A Mass to honor his memory is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Memorial contributions can be made through the sympathy store.
