Patrick Hunter Eskew, 78, of Midland, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2025. Born on July 3, 1947, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Harry Garvin Eskew and Elizabeth Mathilda Dragoo, Patrick leaves behind a legacy of devotion to music and family.
Patrick’s career in music education spanned several schools and areas, demonstrating his deep love for teaching and music. He cherished his time as a worship pastor in El Paso, impacting many through his passion for church music. Patrick’s family was always at the center of his life, and he found joy in creating music, woodworking, gardening, and supporting his wife’s passion for animal rescue.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kay, his sons, grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Patrick’s memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home on August 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Choir, Hillcrest School, The Christian Broadcasting Network, or an animal rescue of choice, in honor of Patrick Hunter Eskew.
