Midland, Texas – Patsy Ellen Breedlove Hopson, 90, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. Born on August 27, 1935, she was the youngest child of Thomas Breedlove and Thelma Wyrick Breedlove. Patsy is survived by her daughters, Marsha Short and Judy Whitworth, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Patsy was an active member of Bellview Baptist Church and volunteered with various community organizations, including Casa de Amigos’ Adult Education Program and the audit team of Members Financial Credit Union. She worked full-time in the Human Resources Department at Shell Pipeline before retiring.
Visitation for Patsy will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home, with a funeral service scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Bellview Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the same location.
Patsy’s dedication to her community and church will be remembered by all who knew her.
