Rep. August Pfluger, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, recently addressed constituents and the broader public through several posts on his official social media account.

On September 22, 2025, Rep. Pfluger extended greetings to the Jewish community, stating, “Wishing all of our Jewish friends and neighbors a joyous Rosh Hashanah.”

The following day, on September 23, 2025, he encouraged followers to seek additional information regarding a letter by posting, “Read more about the letter in @semafor below https://t.co/2QMDC1jzMY”.

In another post on the same day, Rep. Pfluger commented on efforts to address online extremism after a high-profile incident involving Charlie Kirk. He wrote, “I joined @HomelandGOP Chair @RepGarbarino in seeking answers from online platforms to detect extremist or suspicious activity in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Digital platforms should be a space for free expression, not a tool for enabling violence.”

August Pfluger succeeded Mike Conaway as representative of Texas’ 11th district in 2021 and won his seat with nearly 80% of the vote against Jon Mark Hogg in the 2020 general election.
