Rep. August Pfluger, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, has recently highlighted legislative initiatives and tributes in a series of posts on his social media account.
On July 22, Pfluger announced new legislation aimed at protecting American business interests overseas. He wrote, “American companies operating abroad should not fear arbitrary government actions that undermine their property rights. The following day, on July 23, he emphasized the importance of energy infrastructure during a congressional hearing: “Natural gas pipelines are a lifeline for powering homes across the country. Watch me question witnesses during a @HouseCommerce hearing on the critical need to expand pipeline infrastructure while not compromising public safety https://t.co/O2lKtfdetG”.
On July 24, Pfluger paid tribute to Dr. Ed Feulner, describing him as an influential figure within conservative circles: “The conservative movement lost one of its founding fathers this week. August Pfluger was born in Houston, Texas in 1978 and currently resides in San Angelo at age 44. He succeeded Mike Conaway as representative of Texas’s 11th District beginning in 2021.
