Rep. August Pfluger, who represents Texas’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted key policy achievements and meetings through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On September 4, 2025, Rep. Pfluger credited pro-energy policies for record-breaking oil production in the United States. He wrote, “Thanks to the pro-energy policies of @HouseGOP, @POTUS, and @SecretaryWright, U.S. oil production hit an all-time high. I am proud to represent the Permian Basin, which will continue to lead the world in fueling our country and allies. Energy security IS national security! “
Later that day, he addressed healthcare access challenges in rural Texas communities. On September 4, 2025, he stated, “Many Texans live in rural communities, often experiencing barriers to quality healthcare access. We must bridge this gap, which is exactly what Republicans did by making historic investments in rural healthcare and rural facilities. Watch @SecKennedy explain our $50 billion.”
Rep. Pfluger also described a meeting with Air Force officials focused on military readiness. On September 4, 2025, he posted: “I enjoyed meeting with @SecAFOfficial this morning alongside members of the @BipartisanVets to discuss maintaining mission readiness and lethality in our Air Force. Our deterrence has rested on air power for decades, and it is critical that we continue to invest in it.”
August Pfluger has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 11th District since replacing Mike Conaway in 2021 and won his seat after defeating Jon Mark Hogg with nearly 80% of the vote in the 2020 general election.
