Rep. August Pfluger, who represents Texas’ 11th district in the U.S. Congress, announced several key updates via his Twitter account between July 21 and July 22, 2025.

On July 21, Rep. Pfluger reported the passage of new legislation: ” The ACES Act just passed the House and is now headed to the President’s desk to be signed into law. We owed this to our service members, and I couldn’t be prouder of its passage today.”

The following day, he shared information about constituent services for residents affected by flooding: “My office will be holding mobile office hours in San Saba and San Angelo today to assist Texas-11 residents who have been impacted by flooding. If you lost important documents such as Social Security Cards, Passports, Birth Certificates, etc., please don’t hesitate to reach” (posted on July 22).

Later that same day, Rep. Pfluger congratulated a colleague on a leadership position: “Congratulations to my colleague, @RepGarbarino, on his selection as the next Chairman of @HomelandGOP . His appointment reflects a strong commitment to securing our borders, strengthening cybersecurity, and protecting our critical infrastructure. Under President Trump’s” (posted on July 22).

August Pfluger has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Mike Conaway as representative for Texas’s 11th District. He was born in Houston in 1978 and currently resides in San Angelo.
