On October 20, 2025, Pfluger extended festive greetings to his constituents, stating, “Wishing a joyful Diwali to everyone celebrating in Texas-11!”
Later that day, he acknowledged local efforts during a government shutdown, posting, “San Angelo continues to set the standard for community support during this government shutdown. I’m grateful to see our local banks and credit unions offering 0% interest loans, and the city of San Angelo waiving late fees on utility bills and suspending service shutoffs for” on October 20, 2025.
On October 21, 2025, Pfluger highlighted his participation at a major industry event: “Great to join industry leaders at the Permian Basin International Oil Show today. August Pfluger has served as the representative for Texas’s 11th District since 2021 after succeeding Mike Conaway. He was first elected in 2020, winning decisively against Jon Mark Hogg with nearly 80% of the vote.
