Rep. August Pfluger, who represents Texas’ 11th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media accounts to highlight community response and official guidance following recent devastating floods in the region.
On July 17, 2025, Pfluger posted about the impact of the floods and praised local solidarity: “The damage from these floods has been devastating, but what gives me hope is witnessing how our communities have shown up for one another. Later on July 18, Pfluger highlighted advice given by Texas State Senator Perry regarding disaster relief resources for farmers and ranchers: “Texas State Senator Perry highlighted a very critical resource available for farmers and ranchers impacted by the floods in yesterday’s press conference. August Pfluger has represented Texas’s 11th District since replacing Mike Conaway in 2021. Born in Houston in 1978, Pfluger currently resides in San Angelo.
