Rep. August Pfluger, who represents Texas’ 11th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on September 5, 2025, to highlight recent legislative developments he says will benefit Texas families and workers.

In a post published at 16:49 UTC, Pfluger encouraged followers to read his latest update on new legislation by stating, “Read my latest outlining how this legislation is going to bring historic, tangible wins to Texas:”.

That same day, he endorsed the Working Families Tax Cut package championed by former President Trump. In his words, “President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cut package is a massive win for hardworking Texans, and it will foster an economy that is pro-growth, pro-worker, pro-family, pro-business, and pro-energy.”

Later on September 5 at 20:07 UTC, Pfluger emphasized the impact of the tax cuts for Texans through another statement: “.@HouseGOP delivered historic wins to Americans in the Working Families Tax Cuts package. Texas families will now have more money in their pockets with a boosted yearly take-home pay of up to $11,300.”

August Pfluger has served as the representative for Texas’s 11th congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Mike Conaway. He was first elected in 2020 with nearly 80% of the vote against Jon Mark Hogg.
