Rep. August Pfluger, representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, shared his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Born in Houston in 1978 and residing in San Angelo, Pfluger has been vocal about matters concerning national security and law enforcement.
On June 8, 2025, Rep. Pfluger expressed gratitude towards the President for issuing an executive order focused on “Restoring American Airspace Sovereignty.” He stated, “Thank you @POTUS for issuing a such a critical EO on Restoring American Airspace Sovereignty. Proud to lead the COUNTER Act with @SenTomCotton to protect military instillations from unauthorized drones.”
Later that day, he commented on violent incidents targeting federal law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles. He described the situation as inconceivable and called for accountability by stating that “The attacks in LA on @ICEgov and other federal law enforcement agencies is inconceivable. These criminals must be held to the fullest extent of the law. This violence must end immediately.”
Continuing his focus on the events in Los Angeles, Rep. Pfluger criticized attacks against federal agents who were involved in arresting convicted sex offenders and gang members. On June 9, he remarked that such actions are a consequence of certain political priorities: “Attacking federal agents while they arrest convicted sex offenders and gang members is despicable, but it’s exactly what happens when Democrats prioritize criminals over law-abiding citizens.” He invited readers to view his full statement on Breitbart News.
