Midland, TX – Robert Warren Kepple, a beloved member of the Midland community known for his faith, family values, and successful career in the oil industry, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Midland, TX. He was 66 years old.
Robert’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, his devout faith, and his passion for fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Kepple, and daughter Shea Ferland, along with extended family members. Robert’s impact extended beyond his family as he served as a Youth Pastor at Cotton Flat Baptist Church and later as the Pastor at Ranchland Heights Baptist Church, leaving a lasting impression on many through his ministry.
A deeply knowledgeable oil industry professional, Robert’s expertise served over 50 production companies and their foremen over the span of his 30-year career. Even in retirement, he remained a valued resource for his former colleagues.
A memorial service to honor the life of Robert Warren Kepple will be held at Kelview Heights Baptist Church in Midland on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a casual dinner reception at The Venue at Live Oaks. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favorite charity in his memory are encouraged.
