Samuel Roy Allen, affectionately known as “Little Sam,” passed away peacefully at his Midland home on September 19, 2025. Born on June 10, 1964, in Andrews, Texas, to Big Sam and Inez Allen, Little Sam was remembered for his adventurous spirit, love for horses and football, and work in the oilfield.

Described as having a big heart for people, Little Sam was known for his welcoming nature, always opening his home to friends and family. He enjoyed sharing stories, spending time with his dog, and doting on his grandchildren.

Little Sam is survived by his mother, Inez Allen; children, and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Big Sam, and his sisters, Rena and T’Nee Annette.
