3 percent of Howard College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 3 percent of Howard College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Howard College has a total student body of 4,485 students, of which 61 percent are women and 39 percent are men. Of these students, 82 men and 53 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Howard College with the most participants are baseball (47), rodeo (37) and basketball (29).
