CITY OF MIDLAND: City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 23 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

City of Midland issued the following announcement on Sept. 18

The City of Midland Health Department is currently conducting their investigation on 23 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Midland County for September 18, 2020, bringing the overall case count to 3551. There are 749 isolated cases, 2155 recovered, 367 under investigation, 199 unable to locate/refused and 81 COVID-19 related deaths in Midland County. Today’s new cases are reflective of lab results from September 17, 2020. 

The City of Midland Health Department will continue to monitor the individuals in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Today, Midland County, the City of Midland and Midland Health confirmed Midland County's 80th and 81st COVID-19 related deaths.

The 80th patient, a male in his 70s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on September 14, 2020.

The 81st patient, a female in her 50s with underlying health conditions, was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. The patient passed away on September 11, 2020.
