Of the 7,667 people living in Monahans in 2020, 50.7 percent (3,886) were women and 49.3 percent (3,781) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Petroplex News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 283. In the 65 and over age range, there were 515 females and 385 males.
