Lowe's Family Center #35 to give away American flags

Lowe's Family Center #35 will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Texas lost 1,311 soldiers in the Korean war and 2,172 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 7528 W University Blvd, Odessa will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW South Side Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Lowe's Family Center #35 while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Lowe's Family Center #35 is located at 7528 W University Blvd, Odessa, Texas. This location is owned by Roger Lowe Sr, represented by Thomas Ewart and managed by Jason Hartwick.
