Wink-Loving ISD Education: 407 students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 407 students enrolled in Wink-Loving ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.8% of them were boys, and 47.2% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 51.4% of the Wink-Loving ISD total enrollment.

Wink-Loving ISD roughly covers schools within Winkler County with its main office in Wink.

Among the two schools in Wink-Loving ISD, Wink Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 219 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
