There were 69 American Indian students enrolled in Midland ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 6.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Midland ISD schools welcomed 26,398 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.3% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Midland ISD roughly covers schools within Midland County and has a main office in Midland.

Among the 41 schools in Midland ISD schools, Legacy High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 10 students.
