WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Representative August Pfluger (TX-11) has released a comprehensive report highlighting the successful initiatives and achievements in the 11th District of Texas throughout 2023. Since assuming office on January 3, 2021, Congressman Pfluger has remained dedicated to his constituents, focusing on crucial issues such as energy dominance, border security, agriculture, and support for military communities.
During the first year of the 118th Congress, Congressman Pfluger authored 42 pieces of legislation and cosponsored over 150 bills. These measures address key concerns such as border security, energy dominance, inflation control, voting integrity, gun owner rights, support for farmers and ranchers, standing up to China, protecting the lives of the unborn, strengthening the military, and advocating for Israel, among others.

In addition to his legislative accomplishments, Congressman Pfluger's office has provided exceptional constituent services. Since taking office, his team has returned $3.6 million to constituents, effectively responded to 120,000 letters, emails, and phone calls, and successfully resolved over 2,300 constituent cases.
To ensure accessibility and transparency, Congressman Pfluger has actively engaged with the public throughout the year. He has visited all 20 counties in the 11th District, hosting 30 in-person public events, sending weekly e-newsletters, conducting regular telephone town hall meetings, and participating in numerous community events.
Some of the notable highlights from 2023 include the opening of new district offices in Killeen, Odessa, and San Angelo, hosting an Energy and Commerce Committee Field Hearing in the Permian Basin, organizing the first-ever Pfluger Student Leadership Conference, dedicating the Colonel Charles and JoAnne Powell VA Clinic in San Angelo, and welcoming U.S. Air Force Secretary Kendall to Goodfellow Air Force Base. Furthermore, Congressman Pfluger had the privilege of hosting Senators John Cornyn and Joni Ernst at the West Texas Legislative Summit.
