On Wednesday, February 28, former Sanger High School standout Layla Torres’ current college team, the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division II game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place in Tyler, Texas. This was their third matchup against the UT Tyler Patriots this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. in Odessa, Texas against Midwestern State Mustangs.
