On Tuesday, February 27, former Vista Ridge High School standout Melayna Lopez’s current college team, the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division II game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place in Tyler, Texas. This was their first matchup against the UT Tyler Patriots this season.
