There were 225 students enrolled in Borden County ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 8.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.4% of them were boys, and 47.6% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 74.7% of the Borden County ISD total enrollment.

Borden County ISD roughly covers schools within Borden County with its main office in Gail.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
