Glasscock County ISD schools Education: 166 white students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 166 white students enrolled in Glasscock County ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Glasscock County ISD schools welcomed 295 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 56.3% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Glasscock County ISD roughly covers schools within Glasscock County and has a main office in Garden City.

Among the two schools in Glasscock County ISD schools, Garden City High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 84 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.
