There were 24 African American students enrolled in Midland Academy Charter School District in the 2022-23 school year, 17.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Midland Academy Charter School District welcomed 385 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 6.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Midland Academy Charter School District roughly covers schools within Midland County and has a main office in Midland.

Midland Academy Charter School was the only school in the district which enrolled African American students, welcoming 24 students in the 2022-23 school year.
