Midland, Texas - Evelyn Hernandez Apodaca, 61, of Midland, TX, journeyed to her Heavenly Home on July 23, 2024. Born on April 30, 1963, to the late Louie Hernandez and Jesusita Tucker Hernandez in Midland, TX.

Known for her hard work and devotion to her family, Evelyn raised her daughters as a single mother. She was remembered for her outgoing nature, affectionate demeanor, and thoughtfulness in remembering birthdays. Evelyn's love for the Lord, enjoyment of reading her Bible, Spanish music, dancing, singing, and taking walks were cherished traits by those who knew her.

She is survived by her mother Jesusita Tucker Hernandez, daughters Rebecca Hernandez (Roy Gonzalez) and Esther Hernandez (Moises Mendoza Rodriguez), nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Israel Hernandez, two sisters, and extended family members.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her grandmother Anita Olgin Hernandez, brothers Abel Hernandez, Louie Hernandez, grandson Isaiah Julian Hernandez, an Angel grandbaby, husband Mario Apodaca, father Louie Olgin Hernandez, sister Rosalinda Hernandez, and ex-son-in-law Jorge V. Galindo.
