Midland, TX - Billy "Bill" Robert Dolan, aged 69, of Midland, Texas, passed away on August 8, 2024. Born on March 12, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas to Wayne and Martha Dolan, Bill had a successful career in the oil industry, culminating as a respected Drilling Consultant across multiple states.

Outside of work, Bill cherished fishing trips with friends he met in the industry and spending time with his grandchildren, supporting their various activities. Known for his culinary talents, Bill's BBQs, fish fry's, legendary pumpkin pie, Butterfinger ice cream, and mouthwatering fudge were adored by loved ones.

Survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Dolan, Bill leaves behind his children James Dolan, Julie Grissom, James Haney, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Martha "Nan" Yarbro.

The family extends their appreciation to Medical Center Hospital ICU Staff, Hospice, friends, and Tammy Solley. Memorial donations in memory of Bill can be made to the American Cancer Society.
