José Irineo Hernández Tavárez, 64, of El Volcán, Coahuila, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Tennyson, TX. He was born on October 10, 1959, in San Carlos, Chihuahua, to Irineo Hernández and Manuela Tavárez. José spent his life working on the ranch with livestock and was married to Gloria Armendáriz for 32 years, raising four children together. In 2012, he joined T.O.C. Trucking LLC where he created many cherished memories with his work family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Armendáriz, son Manuel Isidro Hernández, mother Manuela Tavárez, sister Belén Hernández Tavárez, and brothers Patricio Alfonso Hernández Tavárez, Martin Oliverio Hernández Tavárez, and Jesús Manuel Hernández Tavárez.

José is survived by his children, grandchildren, siblings, father, nephew, and nieces.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Chapel located at 1311 W. Florida Avenue in Midland, TX.
