From his days at Permian High School to his achievements at The University of Texas at Austin, Alan displayed exceptional leadership and athletic prowess. With a career spanning nearly 40 years in family law, he tirelessly advocated for his clients and strived to make a positive impact on their lives. Known for his generosity, Alan often took on pro bono cases to ensure that those in need received top-notch legal representation.
Above all, Alan treasured his family. His marriage to Cathie Rae in 1991 marked the beginning of a beautiful life together, filled with love and joy. Alan deeply cherished his three children - Blake, Jake, and Maddie - and three grandchildren - Taylor, Maci, and Alex. A loving father and grandfather, he took great pride in their accomplishments and never missed an opportunity to show his unwavering support.
Alan's legacy of love, humor, and compassion will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He found solace in his faith, family, and friendships, and leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories for those who held him dear.
A memorial Mass in honor of Alan Moravcik will be held on Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland. In lieu of flowers, donations to Casa of West Texas charity are appreciated at www.casawtx.org.
Alan is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, brother, extended family members, and numerous friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity. May he rest in eternal peace.
