Linda Joyce Taggart, 83, passed away on August 20, 2024, at 5:41 p.m. Her son and daughter were by her side, each holding her hand. Linda was born on February 18, 1941, in Seminole, TX. Linda spent many years working as a beautician before transitioning to the West Texas oilfields as a roustabout. She was a long-time member of Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord in Odessa, TX and later joined First Methodist Church of Midland, TX. She is survived by her brother Don Curtis, sister Carolyn Montoya, daughters Mandy Dunnagan, Renae' Armstrong, and son Paul Taggart. Linda is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at First Methodist Church, Midland, TX.
