Born in Odessa, TX, on November 14, 1961, to Blas and Francisca Zuniga, Emma spent her formative years in Midland. She married Mark Sarckees, the love of her life, on February 15, 1986. Emma dedicated thirty years as a patient scheduler at the Allison Cancer Center, retiring on June 15, 2015.

Emma is survived by her husband Mark Sarckees; son Timothy Martinez and his partner Alina Tarango; daughter Andrea Sarckees Ritter and her husband Thomas; brother Rick Zuniga and his wife Zee; sister Abigail Miles, her husband Lance, and their son Jack Miles; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents and half-brothers Santiago and Antonio Zuniga.

A Celebration of Emma's life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, TX, with Pastor Woodrow Bailey Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Midland are appreciated.
