Bobbie Jeanette Thorne, aged 97, passed away on September 13, 2024. She was born on December 15, 1926, in Hudson near May, Texas, and later moved to Midland. Known as "Nannie" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bobbie was a dedicated wife, mother, and professional.

She worked at Sloan Bagwell Furniture for many years and was admired for her talent and hard work in interior design. Bobbie had a passion for connecting with people and helping them find the perfect furniture. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity towards others.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Bobbie is survived by her brother, daughter, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished like her own. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, with the funeral service scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Branch at npw. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Midland Humane Society or a charity of choice. The family expressed gratitude to all who supported Bobbie, especially Home Hospice of Midland.
