Odessa, Texas - Thomas Ray Pride, 75, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, to be with the Lord. Born on December 6, 1948, in Kosse, Texas, Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1974 after completing his education in Calvert and Odessa, Texas.

A faithful member of Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C., Thomas served in various roles and continued supporting the church despite his health challenges. He had a passion for playing the harmonica and trumpet.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Deborah Pride, siblings Johnny Pride (Sharon), Bob Pride (Debra), Dennis Pride, Melvis Pride (Charlotte), Bertha Pride, children Dexter Pride, Tamika Pride-Newman, Tramehl Pride, Tyrone Moorer, Chris Jones (Amy), Anthrone Jones (Melody), Michael Jones (Angela), Antia Jones, LitSandra Hawkins (Dextric), Monica Hill, and many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Virginia Pride, sister Mary Pride, brother Curtis Pride, and grandson Devonte Jones.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Temple Church, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery. Online condolences can be shared at www.asancheztfh.com.
