Midland, Texas - Maria Elena Rivera, 82, of Delicias Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Midland, Texas. She was born on May 28, 1942, in Delicias Chihuahua, Mexico, to Pedro Rivera and Herminia Sigala. Maria married Gregorio Rivera on January 25, 1964, in Mexico, and was a dedicated housewife.

Survived by her husband Gregorio Rivera, children Héctor and Pina Rivera, Ramón Rivera, Jesús and Jesusita Rivera, Norma and Francisco Baeza, Rosa and Leobardo Brito, Maria is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Impact City Church in Odessa, Texas. The funeral service will take place on July 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Midland, Texas. Willowbrook Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Midland are entrusted with the arrangements.
