Odessa - Howard Hugh Crockett, 73, of Odessa, TX, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. Born on March 30, 1951, in Monahans, Texas, to Bobby and Bobbie "Jean" (Milner) Crockett, Howard was a devoted husband to Linda (Crabb) Crockett. Known for his strong work ethic, Howard tirelessly provided for his family up to his final days, showcasing his determination and skill at fixing anything. He had a deep love for his dogs, Marley and Peanut.

Despite health challenges, Howard remained a dedicated "online member" of First Baptist Church in Odessa, demonstrating a generous spirit and willingness to help those in need. A proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, Howard's sense of duty and pride never wavered.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Crockett, children Tashya Mosley, Suzy Sousley, Lynzy Sousley, Misty Preslar, and Brick Sousley, seventeen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister Dana Latiolais (Glenn), and his beloved dogs. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Bobbie "Jean" (Milner) Crockett.

A viewing will be held on October 2, 2024, with funeral services on October 3, 2024, at American Heritage Funeral Home. Howard will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to family and friends, and unwavering faith. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
