Midland, Texas - Don Kirkland Neal, 62, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Neal, born in Midland, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and was actively involved at Crestview Baptist Church. He held a leadership position in DeMolay International and was an avid swimmer. After attending Texas Tech University and New Mexico State University, he worked at AT&T. Neal was known for his love of classic rock and roll music, Texas Tech football, astronomy, and animals.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Neal, daughter, stepsons, father, sister, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Ellis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Youth Fund at Home Line Baptist Church or Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals.
