Danny Lee Swails, 76, born in Midland, Texas, on April 18, 1948, to Dayton and Peggy Jean Swails, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2024. A graduate of Odessa High School, Danny served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ticonderoga and USS Midway during the Vietnam War. He dedicated over 30 years to Tommy White Supply Company, Inc. and served 26 years with the Midland Fire Department, including eleven years as Captain.

Predeceased by his parents and sister Barbara Jean Hunt, Danny is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy Sue(Gregg) Swails, daughter Amber Dawn Rowland, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Saundra Lynn Rose, and numerous beloved family members.

Known for cherishing his family roles as pops and papa, Danny will be deeply missed. Friends are invited for visitation at Ellis Funeral Home on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 6-8 PM. Graveside services will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 11 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park.
